Life
Became a respiratory therapist in 1980 and taught until I retired to have hip replaced..Am still married to high school sweetheart Lewis Dixon and we have 2 children(1 each) 3 Grandchildren and 4 Greatgrands. I am into art quilting since retirement and we have built on our old summer cottage land in Keystone Hgts. Will move as soon as those little grands start school and have little time for the old folks. We are still lving part-time in the same house we built while I was going to school..first it wasn't big enough and now it is too big..except for all of my fabrics and art paints which are growing every day. me of you with the red hat ladies(foxy mamas) and others . Art has become the thing in my life in my old age. We are still living between 2 houses, 1 in Jax and 1 in Keystone hgts. Have developed fast friends in KH and really are enjoying life. I have recently started making crazy art dolls...maybe it's my second or third childhood creeping in. Oh well getting old is part of living and I plan in kicking and screaming the whole way to the end. One of my Grands told me " Grannie,when I get old like you ,I want to be just as crappy as you are" I did correct the word crafty instead of crappy and told her that I would be proud if she did.
